Taking Action: Typhoon Relief to Panay
Time: 10:30AM to 4:00PM
Location: Infinite Auto Design

Typhoon Yoland/Haiyan devastated the Philippines earlier this month, leaving thousands without the basic necessities of food, water, clothing, blankets, medicine, or even light and warmth. As the death toll rises, we hope to do as much as we can here to collect as many donations as possible to send them out to those in need. While much of the U.S. media and other charity organizations are focusing on Tacloban City, we want our efforts to focus on the other regions that were affected, specifically Panay island.
With Tacloban City being the epicenter of the disaster, that is where all the media we see here is focused on. But the Typhoon impacted more than just that area and we really need to keep thinking of the people suffering in those areas as well. For example, Capiz, a first class province of Panay currently has NO rescue operations, NO media coverage, NO signal, NO relief operations, and almost 95% of the province is down. There is much to be done and we need to make sure we help everyone we can. We hope you can all join us to collect the much needed aid and as one Southern California community yell out, #DAYUUMYOUYOLANDA!
Additionally we will have some baked goods available for monetary donations. 100% of the proceeds will go towards getting relief to the Philippines.
Food Trucks & Live Music:
For festivities, the Ninjas With Appetite food truck will be on site for you to grab a bite to eat. All the while, good tunes provided by Infinite Auto Design.
Great opportunity to feed the soul and the stomach.
Car Display & Hot DaYUUM Hunnies:
What DaYUUM event can’t be done without cool cars and hot girls?
After you drop off your donation, feel free to check out the rides by DaYUUM, Infinite Auto Design, Team Klassified, and Scion Evolution. Hot DaYUUM Hunnies will also be on site, in addition to volunteering their time taking in donations they will also be selling prints with 100% of the proceeds going towards our donations. Feel free to pose for pictures and give monetary donations.
For every DaYUUM purchase, $1 to $5 will go to the purchase of supplies needed for Taking Action. ($1 per sticker, $5 per hat or shirt).
“TAKING ACTION” Stickers:
Show your support! For every donation $5 or more you will receive a limited edition “TAKING ACTION” decal. Available only on Saturday. While supplies last.
There’s a lot of things that go into these Mash-Up!’s, months of planning and organizing all leading to being able to execute it all when the time finally comes. Rarely does anything ever go 100% as planned, but with a dedicated team (and supporters), everything can still be a big success without any spectators knowing the difference.

The CHOC walk was created in 1990 to allow friends and family to come together at the Disneyland® Resort for the children in our community. To raise awareness as well as donations to help CHOC Children’s mission to nurture, advance and protect the health and well being of children. Last year was the first year Scion Evolution & DaYUUM participated in the CHOC Walk and we were able to raise $1,525 that went towards CHOC Children’s new patient tower. This year we were able to surpass that and raised a total of $2,020!

O.M.T. or “one more time” is a phrase chanted by fans and judges during a tandem battle during a drift competition that is too close to determine a winner and deserves another run.
The first 86fest was such a popular event that I’m sure everyone was screaming “one more time” and the end of the event. And after months and months of planning, Antonio Alvendia, (@antoniosureshot) of MotorMavens and crew gave the world what they all wanted, 86fest2!
Hopefully many of you can help in our efforts to raise needed funds to support the care, services, education and research that CHOC Children’s provides children in our community.

WHAT!? Another event? Already? So soon!
Yup after pulling an all nighter in West Covina for the DaYUUM/Guppy Tea House Summer Shindig, we were up bright and early at Irwindale Speedway for Longo Scion‘s 10 year anniversary / Longo Lexus‘ Pursuit4. Some of us overslept, but we all made it with a nice big 8 +1 car display courtesy from Young from FRS86. Thanks dude!

DaYUUM threw a big party at Mash Up 2 for the Guppy Tea House Temple City grand opening, so when Guppy Tea House started planning a new location in West Covina, CA, you knew another major event was in the works too.
The Summer Shindig, gave people a Hawaii-like luau to cope with the recent summer heat in the SoCal. And it was truly just like Hawaii; with overcast, humidity, and even spots of light rain here and there. All this added to the awesome atmosphere on the night as the weather stayed clear and kept the guests from feeling too hot or too cold, well at least too cold (more on that later, hehe).
