O.M.T. or “one more time” is a phrase chanted by fans and judges during a tandem battle during a drift competition that is too close to determine a winner and deserves another run.

The first 86fest was such a popular event that I’m sure everyone was screaming “one more time” and the end of the event. And after months and months of planning, Antonio Alvendia, (@antoniosureshot) of MotorMavens and crew gave the world what they all wanted, 86fest2!

Whether in the parking lot chillin’ or on the track tossing it around, its just looked cool. That line can be said about either the Scion FR-S or 86Fest from this past weekend. MotorMavens’ Antonio Alvendia and his crew put together a nice blend of car show and track day festivities at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. It was a perfect celebration for the whole 86 platform (AE86/FRS/BRZ).

SEMA 2010 – Cars, Babes, and Friends.

Snaps: E. Camanag, D. Huang

SEMA for some is a chance to check out custom vehicles, reconnect with friends, and observe new products. For others its weeks of sleepless nights, months of planning, and a boat load of support. It’s stressful for some, and joy to others. SEMA has its pleasures as well, raging after parties and talent that is pleasing to the eyes, combined it balances the hectic weeks and months leading up to SEMA. Appreciation from peers suddenly relieves the headaches and solidifies the journey.

SEMA, Specialty Equipment Market Association, is the largest show catering to the aftermarket parts industry. From tires, to frame alignment racks, to finishing products, it’s all at SEMA during a 4-day show. From time to time, I have gotten sneak peek photos of cars being built but it’s all a tease until you see them eye to eye, mono y mono. Whomever said a picture is worth a thousand words should have also said a picture is worth a thousand lies.

In vehicle sense, pictures fail to show the detail in paint and often color, depth in body design, and immaculate details. We have many pictures to share, but it’s not going to give you a real sense of those aspects. The best we can do is try. We will try to show you as much as we can, from the parties, to the cars, to product, to the lovely booth gals, we will try our best. If you haven’t been to SEMA try your best next time around. Crash on someone’s floor if you must and experience it!
