Winter is not quite over yet! So why not some fun times ice skating?
To kick off the year, we decided to check out The Rinks at Anaheim Ice, followed by a dinner with an impromptu photoshoot.
(Other than the impromptu photoshoot, we all relied on our camera phones for pictures. Staying up on the ice was hard enough, add taking photos at the same time would have nearly been impossible, haha!)
January is the starting point of a new year; it’s the time when people think of and try to follow through on some New Year’s Resolutions. Well here at Scion Evolution, we are trying to do the same, with the simple resolution of “staying active and keep doing new things together.”
We recently started having at least one of our Meet & Greets each month away from the normal spot so we can all get out and do something different. This month we went ice skating! For some it was about doing something they don’t get to do too often, for many it was doing something they haven’t done in years, but for others…it was a scary but fun first time experience.
There was clean skating, holding each others hands, hugging the walls, and even some falls. People were sore and complaining about it, but oddly…with a smile on their face. Because no matter how rough it was on the body, everyone really enjoyed themselves and wouldn’t have traded this experience for anything.
After ice skating we all had a nice hardy dinner at Ruby’s Diner where we also finished out Meet & Greet. We discussed a lot of things we plan on doing this year. It was exciting, and I can really feel the motivation within the members to get active and do things. We want to do a little bit of everything, from car events/activities to just fun bonding events/activities like this day. I can’t give away all our plans now, you’ll all just have to stay tuned to find out!
But I can leave you with these videos!
Oh yea and in the nature of being active and doing things, as we exited the restaurant. Jayson had the spontaneous idea of doing an impromptu photoshoot!
